Why did you chose a Cape Parrot?: They were advertised in a local newspaper – we went to see them and fell hopelessly in love.

Amount of coloring & where: Normal P.f.s. – Orion has a little bit of coral on his head still.

Hand Fed: I doubt it

Shy or aggressive around strangers: Exceptionally shy – that’s why we don’t think they were handfed.

Talking ability: None ….. yet!

How would you rate noise: Quiet

How would you rate activity level: Busier than the Eclectus, but quieter than the toucans!

Likes to bathe: Don’t know yet!

How cuddly or affectionate: Still terrified – but curiosity is starting to manifest – nothing works like bribery and corruption

Territorial: Yes

Size and type of cage: Still in quarantine cage – will be moving into outdoor aviary 1,8 x 2,7 afterwards

What is the regular diet: Nuts, fruit, seeds, parrot porridge

Wings Clipped: No

Any Health Problems or Accidents: Lost a couple of toenails before we got them, otherwise seem fine.

Comments: We are looking forward to building a relationship with these lovely little people ASAP.
