Ooops, sorry for the last empty post. I bought my Brown Necked Parrot from The African Queen last month and had it shipped to San Diego. Max is a great Parrot companion. I would Recommend her or Scott Lewis from Old World Aviaries, although I don't think anyone has any babies at the current moment. DJ Aviaries also had one when I was looking but it may have been sold by now. As far as a Cape vs Uncape the Home page of this site has a great explanation of what happened. DNA now proves that the parrot in the pet trade differs from the true Cape Parrot, according to the book "Guide to the Senegal Parrot and Family". Jean Pattison in a rush one day accidentally referred to these pet "Capes" as the "Un-Cape" parrots. The name stuck and now appears world wide. It is very confusing but there is quite a bit of information available to get it straight. There seems to be only Grey Headed parrots (p.f.s and Brown Necked parrots (p.f.f) available to the pet trade, which used to be called the "Cape" parrot. Hopes this helps and good luck.
