I have a lovely approx. 4 yr old uncape parrot named Maria. She was originally owned by a young man who purchased her in Virginia. I have the hatch date and testing papers on file. THe problem is that she has strongly bonded to my husband, and if out of her cage, wants to be with him as much as possible. He likes her, but really doesn't want a constant parrot companion. I would like her to spend time with me, but in her eyes I am just not a good substitute. We would very much like to find her a male human partner who wants such a close long term relationship.
