We have a variety of woods, hard and soft, that ours likes. He also likes pretty much any toy, especially foot toys. He also likes to undo knots. His perches vary in size from very small to large. We use the java wood branches from Kings Cages. We also have a twisty rope perch with toys on it. He is only 5 months old right now so may refine his toy choices but right now it is whatever he can get his beak on
