How are things going with your new uncape? We are expecting our new baby uncape this week and are so excited. We lost your 2 year old uncape in March to bone marrow cancer.
I used to try and visit this board but was never able to post so stop coming. Hopefully with 3 new babies in homes it will open up again
: : I'm very excited to be bringing home a new pff (un-cape) tomorrow. We think it is a female. Hatch date - New Year's Day. I have spent several hours with her already and she is very sweet-natured. Now all I need is a name for her! I look forward to many years with her. I had budgies and tiels in college (30 years ago). It will be great to have a bird in the house again and the Cape seems to be the way to go! (at least for me).
: Congratulations on your new baby! If she was not DNA sexed, you will know soon enough whether she is indeed a female. Males will lose their orange splotch on their heads during the fist molt. As you can see, this board is virtually inactive, but if you post a question or q problem someone usually comes along to help out. There are several parrot forums on line that offer good info on birdkeeping in general. AvianNation, ThePerch.net, and Birdboard.com. all have very knowledgeable members. If you have any immediate questions, you can always email me, and I will help if I can. We have a 17 mo. old male cape Pff. named Jazz.
