When Bilbo Baggins, J'attitude-filled Jardine's, grinds his beak at night getting comfy on my chest before bedtime, he sometimes drools. His eyes drift to half-staff and his beak grinds contentedly and rhythmically, and saliva collects at the end of his beak. I've always thought of it as a self-comforting behavior. Lilikoi is still hopping and playing at bedtime and I've not seen that behavior in her - yet.
